WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) today announced he is hosting a Facebook cover photo contest. The contest is seeking photos from across the state that highlight Nebraska’s diversity and uniqueness. The top photos will be featured on Johanns’ Facebook page throughout the fall.
“From Chimney Rock to the Sand Hills, the banks of the Niobrara River to Memorial Stadium on game day - Nebraska has some of the most unique scenery in America and a lot to be proud of,” Johanns said. “With your help, I want to bring a little more of ‘The Good Life’ to my Facebook page.”Submissions, along with the photographer’s name and permission to use the photo, hometown and a brief caption for the photo, can be sent to NebraskaPhotos@johanns.senate.gov. All photographs must be original works.
Participants are encouraged to regularly check Johanns’ Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/MikeJohanns for updates and to view the selected photos.
