Allen R. "Ollie" Davidson 1948 to 2012

Allen R. "Ollie"  Davidson, 64,  unexpectedly died at his home near Blue Hill September 1. 
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Merten-Butler Mortuary chapel in Blue Hill with the Rev. Steve Marsh officiating.  Burial with Military Rites by A.L. Shirley Post #176 of Blue Hill will be at the Cloverton Cemetery, rural Blue Hill.
Memorials may be directed to the family. 
Allen R. "Ollie" Davidson was born on May 16, 1948 to Frank P. and Helen M. (Frazier) Davidson at Hastings, Nebraska.
 He graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1966.
 From 1966 to 1967 he attended the Denver Automotive Institute. 
From 1967 to 1970 he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
 He married Lee Ann Kuper on October 22, 1988, at his home. 
He engaged in farming and did construction his entire life. 
He was a member of A.L. Shirley Post #176 and VFW Post #9984 of Bladen, Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife, LeeAnn of Blue Hill; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceeed in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary and Dana.
