County Board Proceedings

The Webster County Board of Commissioners met at 8:30 am on Tuesday, June 23 for a special Public Hearing. Members present for roll call were Jeff Ord, Roger Bohrer, Keith Buschow and Mary Delka. Commissioner Soucek was absent. This Public Hearing was to amend portions of the 2008-2009 County Budget. No citizens were present for the hearing. Clerk Knehans reviewed expenditures in various funds. Motion was made by Buschow, seconded by Delka to adopt RESOLUTION 27-2008: WHEREAS, The governing body has declared it necessary to amend the County Budget Document due to circumstances requiring changes in amounts for Capital Improvements, Bonded Indebtedness, and Interlocal Agreements of the Form of LC-3 Lid Expenditures and thereby changing the total Unused Restricted Funds Authority (Unused Budget Authority created for next year); BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2008-2009 County Budget Document be amended as follows: Section 1. That the amount for Capital Improvements listed for Exceptions be amended to the true total of $222,202 due to changes in actual expenditures from the various funds. Section 2. That the amount for Bonded Indebtedness be changed to the actual amount of $253,656 due to early payment on the Hospital Bond. Section 3. That the amounts for Interlocal Agreements be amended to a total of $381,531. Section 4. That the Computation of the Limit Form is amended to reflect the changes in the LC-3 Lid Exceptions Form and thereby amending the Total Unused Restricted Fund Authority to $604,620 as the Unused Budget Authority for the next fiscal year. The four members present voted to adopt the resolution. No changes were made for the expenses, revenue or tax portion of the budget. Being no further business, Chairman Ord adjourned the meeting at 9:40 am.
