The public library now has 45 movies available for patrons to check out thanks to a grant from the Glenwood Telephone Membership Corporation and proceeds raised from Friends of the Library Foundation projects including the recent 4th of July Basket Raffle. Additional movies will be added to the selection on a regular basis. Patron suggestions will be considered as new movies are ordered.
All residents of Blue Hill are elligable to sign up for a free Library card. Rural residents may apply for a card at a nominal fee. The Blue Hill Public Library is a member of the Nebraskard program which entitles Blue Hill Library card holders to check out books or materials from any one of 63 participating libraries in Nebraska to include Hastings, UNK, Grand Island, Clay Center, Nelson, Red Cloud and Superior.
