A quick web search on Kevin & Donna Kort, Liquor license will give the following answer

http://lcc.ne.gov/schedule/06-06schedule.pdf
..........

"24. Show Cause
Kevin C. & Donna M. Kort "Klancey's Kafe"

Whether or not applicatin shold be approved and license issued due to character and reputation of the appllication, ie, Kevin C. Kort failed to disclose DUI 8/84 and record also shows DUI 10/92.". . . .

This information indicates that Kevin tried to decieve the liquor commission before june 6 of 2006 or when he got is orginal license that the city had approved, also, at that time without all the infomation asked for.

It also shows a continuing pattern of drinking and acting irresponsibly. I hope Blue Hill citizens take note of this information and that they do the right thing.

The question is "does This person, Kevin C. Kort, fit the description of one who is responsible enough to run this kind of business, which means he must be more responsible than the individual who is not required to be licensed to run a business.?"
A responsible person does not drink to the point of intoxication and then drive, nor does he, in a state of intoxication, enter another business establishment and have to be removed by law enforcement.

Nebraska laws require a degree of responsibility to have a liquor license that Kevin C. Kort has not demonstrated he is capable of attaining even after having been given a second chance by the Nebraska Liquor Commission, no one is required to give him yet another chance to prove that he should not have the privilege of holding this license and operating this establishment.

The fact that Kevin has come to city council meetings and passed out drunk does not say much for his character either.
