Experts say grasshoppers
and bean leaf beetles are showing up along more and more Nebraska soybean fields, particularly in the southern part of the state. UNL Extension educator Keith Jarvi says a single species of bugs rarely wreaks enough havoc to cause economic loss in a field. But he says the combined damage of two or more species can cost farmers some money.
