Warcat at District Tournament in Utica

In Saturday action Garrett Sharp,(170)  a junior with a season record of 23 wins and 7 losses, was defeated by a pin after 5:59 by Derek Work of David City. His second match of the day was against  James Buresh to decide 3rd and 4th place.  He suffered a  loss to Buresh and will advance to state with a fourth place finish in Districts..

Tanner Rupprecht, (138)  a junior with a record of 24-12, won against Evan Krurda of Aquanis Catholic for a third place finish.  .
Levi Vogler, ( 106) junior, with 28-10,  lost to  David Jjimanez from Kennesaw Shelton for  4th place.  Sharp, Rupprect and Vogler will all go to state wrestling tournnament in Omaha next weekend. 
Eli VanBoening won yesterday and was defeated Saturday.  he will not advance to state competition.

Firday results
The Blue Hill/Red Cloud wrestling team was in Utica Friday for the District Tournament. They will be there tomorrow for the championship matches. 
 Garrett Sharp, Tanner Rupprecht,  each won two matches and will be back tomorrow to wrestle again in the semi finals, and then the finals.  .  Jorne Smith and Levi Vogler each won one match and lost another and will also go back to wrestle again tomorrow.  Jared Bostock, Garrett Vogler and Hector Rodriquez.lost both matches today and   will not be wrestling on Saturday.
