Edward A. "ED" Wademan

Blue Hill resident Edward A. Wademan, 56, died Thursday, December 10, 2009, at his home. Services are 2 p.m. Monday December 14, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill with the Rev. Joshua Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Blue Hill. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Sunday with family prsent, 3-5 pm and 9 am to 12 noon on Monday at Merten-Butler Mortuary in Blue Hill and one hour prior to sevices at the church. Ed was born on July 4, 1953 to Albert E. and Esther M (Rose) Wademan in Hastings, NE. He attended Trinity Parochial School through the eigthth grade and graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1971. He graduated from Central Community College with a degree in construction. After graduation he worked for Johnson Imperial Homes for a few years and then started Wademan Construction in the early 1980's. He married Roxanne R. Rutt on March 6, 1976. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, was in the church chior and a former trustee of the church. He is survived by his parents, Albert and Esther Wademan of Blue Hill, NE. wife, Roxanne of Blue Hill, NE; one son Tyson and his wife Tarin of Sutton, NE; one daughter Shauneen Steppuhn of Hastings, NE; three grandchildren, Conner and Macy Wademan and Hayden Steppuhn, three sisters, Honora Schiller and her husband Stan of St. Louis, Mo; Donna Drury and her husband Bruce of Beaumont, Texas, and Phyllis Heath and her husband Don of Hastings, NE Ed will be greatly missed in the Blue Hill community.
