Betty L. Krueger, 82, of Hastings, Nebraska, died Monday
December 31, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village-Perkins Pavillion.
Services were held Thursday January 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill, Nebraska, with Rev. Joshua Lowe
officiating. Burial was at Trinity
Lutheran Cemetery in Blue Hill, Nebraska.Memorials can be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or AseraCare Hospice.
Betty was born on April 5, 1930, to Herman and Alice (Sparks) Maul in Hastings, Nebraska. She married Glenmore W. Krueger on May 8, 1949, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill, Nebraska. She worked at the Clark Hotel, Barnason’s and Courtright’s Grocery Stores, Blue Hill Bowling Alley and Ponderosa Bowling Alley in Hastings Nebraska.
She moved to Hastings from the farm north of Blue Hill in
1994. She was a member of Trinity
Lutheran Church and Trinity LWML, Eagles of Hastings, Nebraska, the Legion
Auxiliary in Hastings, Nebraska, and had been a member of the Women’s Bowling
Association in Hastings, Nebraska.
Betty is survived by five daughters, Glenda (Jerry) Shaw of
Blue Hill, Nebraska, Patty (Mike) May ,
Polly (Bob) Peters , Lisa (Steve) St. John , and Gena (junior) Kile all of
Hastings, Nebraska, one brother in law, Don Schneider of Sun City, California;
one sister in law, Shirley Kosmicki of Blair, Nebraska; fifteen grand children
and sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one
brother and one sister.
