In first-round play at the girls state basketball tournament at Lincoln Southeast Thursday the Blue Hill girls were up against North Platte St. Patrick's. The final score of the C-2 game ended the season for the Lady Bobcats as they fell to North Platte with a score of 34-47.
Leading 19-18 at halftime, Blue Hill fell behind and by third quarter were as much as 10 points down. They came back to within four points before finally falling behind by 7..
Blue Hill shot just 24.5 percent (13-of-53) from the field.
Freshman Mackenzie Willicott led Blue Hill (19-5) with 13 points off the bench, while Maci Coffey had 12 rebounds.

The St. Pat's 6-foot-3 sophomore Brittany Lawrence, finished with 12 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks to give her a Class C-2 state-tournament best 93 blocks for the season.
