The Nebraska 2010 Outstanding Worker of the year, Sally Gorden, is 101 years old, having been born in 1909. She has been working since Calvin Coolidge was president. She is also the
Sergeant of arms of the Nebraska state legislature for the past 26 years. Prior to becoming sergeant of Arms, Gorden was secretary to three Nebraska governors. She says that she has no plans to retire anytime soon. Gorden walks to work each day. 'When I don't work I just go crazy." she said. "I'm a desperate housewife but I am allergic to housework."
