It has been announced that Area schools, Blue Hill, Red Cloud, Silver Lake, Lawrence/Nelson and Sandy Creek will be closed tomorrow. Hastings College is also closed. Right now the roads in Webster county are described as passable but with any wind they will close rapidly due to the accumulation of fluffy, light snow piling up.

All day the television has been running across the bottom of the screen additional closings, from North Platte to Lincoln. closings are everything from day cares, to medical clinics to businesses, as well as sporting events. Also it is beginning to show school closings and late starts for Tuesday.
