Omaha World Herald has a story in second section (Midlands) that is about Snows being too light and dry and a drought situation existing. They quote Dewey Lienemann, he brought a gallon of snow inside and melted it so see how much water was acutally in it, seems like a foot of this snow equals only a quarter inch of water. Not enough to make up for the unusually dry fall.
