BLUE HILL DEFEATS SUTTON

The Blue Hill Bobcats managed a 12 to 6 victory over the  Sutton team Friday night in the kick off game of  Blue Hill's 2011 season.   The game was delayed for one hour because  of lightening and heavy rain but was able to resume to finish the first game of the season with a win for Blue Hill.
Blue Hill senior  running back Shane Faimon carried the ball 47 of the 53 Blue Hill possessions  for a remarkable total of 206 yards.
Faimon also played on the defensive  team proving that he has a high level of stamina and tolerance for pain.  Blue Hill Coach Scott Porter said Faimon is a tough player and able to handle the pounding that 47 carries in a game produces.  Porter said he was extremely impressed with Faimon and the offensive line.
This coming Friday Blue Hill will face two time defending champion Hastings St. Cecilia.
