Blue Hill Students at Husker Harvest days

A number of Blue Hill residents went to Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island to take advantage of the oppertunity to learn more about the newest and best inovations in agriculture. Wednesday the event was held up for a couple of hours. Visitors were not permitted on the grounds until 10 a.m, a two hour delay to allow exhibits to clean up the damage caused by overnight winds at the site. After clean up the event proceeded as usual with all kinds of exhibits available, from registered polled hereford cattle to harvesting equipment to seed corn dealers to television service providers. After the winds and rain in the early morning hours the day was warm and humid but the crowds at the event were not diminished.
