Blue Hill in the News

Despite what anyone may think Blue Hill does manage to get some publicity. Front page stories in the Hastings Tribune the last two days have included stories about Blue Hill residents. In the Wednesday September 1, 2010 an article titled" Weight-loss challenge has participants talking smack" tell how Blue Hill, juniata and Kenesaw have organized a weight loss challenge. The story tells us that so far 30 people in Juniata, 36 in Kenesaw and 32 from Blue Hill are participating. The weigh-in occur each week on the local grain elevator scales. The challenge is scheduled to conclude May 31, 2011. Thursday Sept. 2 edition of the Hastings Tribune has a Story entitled Mural with a Message, Blue Hill Artists work brightens way to speach Therapy Clinic. The story is about Blue Hill art teacher Christine Brown who has painted murals in the Masonic Center near the Rite Care Clinic, a speech therapy clinic for children.
