December 10th, at the Southern Valley invitational wrestling tournament, the combined team of Blue Hill- Red Cloud placed second behind Loomis/Bertrand. Loomis/Bertrand had 309.5 points. The Blue Hill/Red Cloud Warcats had 232, followed by Southern Valley with 203.5. Others participating in the tournament were Franklin with 189, Arapahoe with 166, Norton with 161, Elwood 101.5, Alma with 73.5., Axtel and Wilcox each had 36 and on the bottom was Centura with 19.
